Hello BiancaFacers!
I guess you could say I took a long hiatus from blogging. But I'm back again to update you! If you haven't figured it out from my posts, tweets (I'm in twitter rehab), and my wonderful logo, I actually work part time as a wedding coordinator. I'm one third of Team SJE as we affectionately call ourselves. So when my little brother Lawrence proposed to Kelli, I was sooo excited! (Lawrence proposed at my house on 4th of July last year.)
I was a bridesmaid, "E" was the ring bearer, and "J" was one of the flower girls. It was truly a family affair! My sister was also a bridesmaid and we all traveled to Michigan for the wedding. It was E and J's first plane ride and they enjoyed every minute of it!
The wedding ceremony took place at MeadowBrook Hall. It was a gorgeous venue surrounded by lush green grounds. The whole wedding weekend was just dreamy.
I wasn't involved in the planning details so I can't take credit for anything. LOL!! I love everything Kelli chose; the venue, the photographer, and her colors. We all had a blast!
The ceremony took place outdoors and it was very windy. The temperature dropped because of a few days of rain. But we braved the goosebumps and tooks lots of gorgeous pictures. Lawrence and Kelli are very much in love. The best part of the whole ceremony which everyone is still talking about is when Lawrence pushed Kelli's hair back from her face as the wind was blowing. All the bridesmaids nearly sighed in unison when he did that. Oh and a few tears fell when Lawrence saw Kelli walking down the aisle. (I'm sure he'll deny that)

I'm so happy that I was able to be a part of Lawrence and Kelli's wedding and I nearly facebooked and tweeted the entire time. It was truly a highlight of 2011 for me so far.

awwww, i can imagine that part when Lee pushed Kelli's hair... Congrats to them both! They will have beautiful babies! :)

You know what this post made me think? "I wonder why I don't no anyone getting married?" I know lot's of women having baby showers, but my husband and I have never been invited to any friend's weddings.
and, of course I meant, Why don't I KNOW any women getting married?
Hmm Blackberry Mama, I wonder why that is?!?!?! I love, love, love weddings. Your friends need to start getting hitched lol.
